The Troop entered two teams into this event. After four matches each, the final was between 15th "A" and the 13th.
The final score at the end of normal time was 2-2, so it went to a penalty shoot-out! The scores were still level after each team had taken five penalties so it went to sudden death and 15th "A" emerged victorious! read

All three of the Troop's patrols took part in this event. Although none of them won the competition, all those who took part enjoyed the experience. read

Ten Scouts, three Cubs and five adults had a very successful camp over the May bank holiday weekend. The weather ranged from sunshine to rain to hail, but we still had a great time. See the photos in the Gallery. read

From 30th July to 6th August, 7 Scouts and two leaders attended Kent International Jamboree, held near Sevenoaks. There were around 2,500 Scouts and leaders at the event from around the world, including some from Nigeria, Ghana and the USA. The Scouts took part in many activities, including woggle making, glass engraving, sailing, canoeing, power boating, climbing, abseiling, prusiking, archery and sub aqua. ... read

The Scouts met for our first meeting after the summer break today. The Troop is doing extremely well at the moment with 18 members and as part of our first meeting back we were able to create a third patrol.
This is due to fantastic interest in Scouting locally and we hope it will continue. read

On 1st September, before the new term had even started, 7 Scouts and four adults took part in a bike hike. Starting from the coach park at the top of Castle Hill, we followed national cycle route number 1 over Langdon Cliffs through St. Margaret’s, Kingsdown, Walmer and Deal to Sandwich, where we stopped for lunch on the green by the quay.... read

Cubs and Scouts from the group were on hand to help give out this season's catalogue giving us a perfect opportunity to raise the profile of Scouting and the group in the town.... read
