Scouts help out in town

New Argos Catalogue When Argos Dover was launching its new catalogue they wanted a hand. Who were they gonna call? Well the 15th Dover of course! Cubs and Scouts from the group were on hand to help give out this season's catalogue giving us a perfect opportunity to raise the profile of Scouting and the group in the town.

Spending Saturday morning talking to the shoppers in Biggin Street the Scouts handed out leaflets giving information about Scouting in general as well as in the local area. The leaflets detailed the kind of great activities Scouts can expect to get involved in like hiking, climbing and canoeing. They also included contact details of groups in the Dover district when the shopper wanted to know more so they could follow up their inquires.

In all a good day was had with all involved glad to talk to members of the town and share their experiences of scouting. You can see some pictures from the day in our gallery.
