During the October half-term holiday the Troop spent a morning at Shorncliffe army barracks, currently the home of the 1st and 2nd Battalions of the Royal Gurkha Riffles.

The Scouts spent two hours bouldering and climbing on the outdoor artificial climbing wall, followed by about an hour in the swimming pool.

The day was rounded off with a very tasty Nepalese lunch in the mess hall.
