Patrols
We now have three patrols: (Cobra, Panther and Tiger). Click the links for information specific to each patrol.
Scout Troops are divided up into smaller groups of Scouts called patrols (there is always a little healthy competition between them). Every patrol has a Patrol Leader (PL); these are the most responsible Scouts as they are given the most responsibility. Each patrol also has an Assistant Patrol Leader (APL); these are Patrol Leaders in training and take on certain roles themselves.
One of the roles of a Patrol Leader is, for example, when it says 'Patrol Activities' on the programme, it's the Patrol Leader who decides with the rest of the patrol what they are going to do for that particular meeting.
Also at the beginning of every term the PLs and APLs meet with the Leaders to come up with the Programme you can see online.
