We are thrilled to announce that 15th Dover Scout Group has been awarded Gift Aid status by HMRC!
Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows registered charities and community groups to claim an extra 25p for every £1 donated by UK taxpayers – at no extra cost to the donor.
What this means for our families
We will shortly be asking all parents and guardians to complete a simple Gift Aid declaration form. By signing up, you allow us to claim Gift Aid on the membership fees and any donations you make to the group. This can make a significant difference to our finances and help us fund more activities, equipment, and adventures for your children.
To be eligible, you must:
- Be a UK taxpayer
- Pay at least as much Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax in the year as the amount we claim in Gift Aid
