Being a Squirrel<\/h2>

Squirrels is for young people aged 4\u20136. It’s the very beginning of the Scouting adventure \u2013 full of play, discovery, and big smiles.<\/p>

Squirrels meet regularly to try new things, get creative, explore the world around them, and make wonderful friends. It’s a warm, welcoming space where little ones can grow in confidence.<\/p>

Each session is packed with age-appropriate fun \u2013 from nature trails and den building to arts and crafts and simple team games. Everything is designed to spark curiosity and build early skills.<\/p>

Squirrel Awards<\/h2>

Squirrels earn their first badges as they try new activities and complete simple challenges. Every badge is a celebration of something new they’ve discovered!<\/p>

Moving Up to Beavers<\/h2>

When Squirrels turn 6, they move up to Beavers<\/strong> \u2013 the next step in their Scouting journey.<\/p>

Uniform and Badge Placement<\/h2>

Squirrels wear a red sweatshirt. There’s no pressure to have a uniform straight away \u2013 once settled in, they’ll start collecting their very first badges!<\/p>
