Being a Cub<\/h2>

Cubs is for young people aged 8\u201310\u00bd. It’s where big adventures begin \u2013 full of activities, friendships, and challenges.<\/p>

Cubs go on days out and sleepovers, try new activities, earn badges, and take part in community events. It’s a fantastic way to grow in confidence and make great friends.<\/p>

From arts and crafts to outdoor adventures, Cubs do it all. No two meetings are the same \u2013 there’s always something new to try, learn, or build.<\/p>

Cub Awards<\/h2>

Cubs earn badges across a huge range of skills \u2013 from cooking and science to first aid and sports. The top award is the Chief Scout’s Silver Award<\/strong>.<\/p>

When they join Cubs, young people make the Cub Promise \u2013 a commitment to do their best, be kind, and look after the world around them.<\/p>

When Cubs reach 10\u00bd, they move up to Scouts<\/strong> \u2013 where even bigger adventures await.<\/p>

Uniform and Badge Placement<\/h2>

Cubs wear a green uniform. You don’t need a uniform to join, but once you’ve settled in you’ll start earning badges to wear with pride.<\/p>
